THE BLACK LIGHT, THE BLACK TRUTH.

He was a man.
Yes he was alright

His step was one
Strong.
His skin shone, dark as gold in the heat of the sun.
His hands swung when he walked
Ripped, raw, gentle.
His hair was fine as wool. Woven in divinity.
Brought forth by a womb dark as the tents of kadar.
His voice was like the wind
Infinitely mystical
Unstopably blowing
So dark he couldn't be picked out of a crowd of normal people. (His people).

His image was captured before yesterday , captured yesterday and treated as dirt on the foreign land , forced to sing in a strange land ~by the rivers of Babylon...

For lack of knowledge my people perish. Stop lying to me
I know my history.

Free today but still insulted
Held in contempt
Despised
Shrouded
But freed in thought

Wanted at birth ,
I was safely hidden among my like(not in a land where I would stand out)
Among my like! to escape the wicked hand of the enemy.

Safe , safe in a land where all babies looked just like me.
With feet like brass burnt in a furnace ...

I seek to free my people
From a warped knowledge steeped deep in ages of prejudice.
Perpetrated to promote the subjugation of my people.

Seek knowledge
Be freed in thought.

Happy Women's day

I am the light that lights,
The last born of creation , the wand of perfection,
The last essential drop.

Created last but first to create
I am not man. No, I am a step further.
I am Stronger than him , prouder, taller.
Formed from the bone and breathe of man ,
I came to perfect.

I am male with a fetus ~female

I am woman!

Happy international women's day to all women.

Back in time

Sitting here,
Cuddling my fourth, fifth? deep red glass of wine
Nursing fragments of my raw emotion
Trying hard to transport myself to a now distant time
To the honey-dipped moments gone
When I smiled and felt you against it,
When my every stretch run into you,
When the end of my giggle was the kiss of your palm.

Trying to roll back this thick wave
to the shore line where our crazy feet hit the welcoming grit of sand
Seize your hand again
Back
back
Back in time to when the rain found my cheeks puffed with laughter,
When I stepped light in your direction,
Falling delightfully to be caught,
Just once, give me a little time back.
All I want to do is hear you snore in my hair
Just once:
So I can figure why we woke from the dream.

Beat of the Gong

BEAT OF THE GONG

Sometimes we are mere lost bits
pulled together by the currents of time
we may encounter an illusionary mother-ship
but it doesn't take too long to recognize a mirage
then off we go again called strongly by a force...
to fulfill our individual fates

I have been called apart from you my dear
a call I must heed.
do not look for me
for I am the eagle who will not perch
the charmed, blazing Zulu spear through your night
I bring to you the intensity you seek
I anoint your moment with oil from Saturn
I take the twinkle in your eye for rewards...

But when next your lids flutter
you will wake up to stillness
for I will be gone~

Gone with the beat of the gong
gone with my kind
to appease the call I hear
the call of the gods that pursue me

Do not look for me my dear
I will be with the silent ones
a shifting shadow in time
hushing the butterflies and luring the dawn
slipping through your thoughts
waiting for the hour....

...till I am gone

Gone with the beat of the gong.
Away with my kind
To appease the call I hear.

The call of the gods that pursue me.
